Now Vermeer offers compost turner equipment with the elevating face technology to complement our line of grinders — providing customers with a comprehensive line of compost equipment solutions.
The Vermeer CT670 is a pull-type compost turner featuring that featuring the patented elevating face technology designed to lift and tumble compost material up the face of the compost turner and discharge at the rear of the machine. This process introduces more oxygen into the compost and helps provide proper aeration of the windrow. This innovative process does not degrade the compost material and helps decrease cycle times.
Capable of turning a compost pile up to 12 foot wide and 6 foot high in two passes, the CT670 can process up to 2,000 cubic yards of compost per hour.
